told his parents that he would never walk, talk, and would be a vegetable as long as lived. God had other plans. At the age of 10, Eddie gave his heart to Jesus and at the age of 25 entered the pastorate serving the Lord in Southern Baptist churches for 16 years. In 1997, he had another life changing encounter with God while contemplating giving up as a minister. This encounter resulted in his experiencing God through the power of the Holy Spirit in a way he had never known. Immediately miracles began happening and Eddie began hearing the voice of God in a way he did not know was possible. Having been a “performance” driven pastor and a man bound by the expectations of the people, Jesus set him free from ministry as he knew it and began teaching him through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Eddie is used by the Lord in the area of preaching, teaching, and ministering through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is a special anointing in the area of healing upon his life. He also is an author who enjoys providing resources to help people and congregations grow in Christ.

Eddie and his lovely wife Mikki were married in 1978 and are the proud parents of four children who also love the Lord deeply. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary.
